Our reason for being is to worship God with all of our lives and share His love with others.
Neat, but what does that mean?
In the outworking of Christian family life together we are pursuing the following goals and objectives. All our expressions of Church should relate in some way to these goals.
Objectives for life together
1. The development of open and honest relationships with all members.
2. Bringing Holy Spirit life and ministry to one another when we meet.
3. The pursuit of freely expressed worship in all its forms.
Objectives for personal growth
4. Encouraging personal spiritual growth and maturity in members.
5. Assisting with the discovery and exercise of individual gifts and ministries.
6. Giving opportunity to influence and participate in the life of the church family.
Objectives for serving the community
7. Presenting the Gospel and winning others to Christ.
8. Providing nurture and encouragement in the Christian faith to all who seek it.
9. Ministering to people’s needs at every level.
10. Seeking the mutual well-being of the whole body of Christ.
11. Supporting missionary ventures and encouraging outward looking vision.
12. Promoting God's standards in the governing and serving authorities.
Health Warning: We have not yet gained perfection and in the course of life together we will hurt one another. When one part of the body hurts the whole body suffers. So in love, seeking the help of others where necessary, deal with these hurts as soon as possible.
